Hospital Info - About the Doctor | | Dr. Shlomo Freiman graduated from Cornell University of Veterinary Medicine in upstate New York. He has a strong interest in both internal medicine and surgery. He has worked for and managed a number of veterinary hospitals before deciding to open his own practice in 1999. | | | "I feel privileged to do what I do for a living. This practice is first and foremost about developing a close relationship between the clients, the pets, and me. I grew up in a small, rural community in Israel. Our local vet lacked the great technology that we have today, but he was always there for us and for our pets. I would like to build this kind of relationship with our clients and their pets. I strongly believe that my role as a vet is not to dictate to people what to do, but to help them understand all the choices and options available to them." | | Dr. Freiman and his wife have two sons, two cats Nile and Sid, as well as a Jack Russell and a Cairn Terrier, both of whom accompany him to work every day. His hobbies include mountain biking, backpacking, drawing, and reading. He is also an avid theater and movie-goer. | |
